  My husband and I were so pleased with Dish & Design’s catering when they provided food and beverage services for our wedding. I discovered D & D on Instagram and noticed their vibrant, playful presentation of really delicious looking food. For our September wedding we wanted to have passed appetizers and a buffet to compliment our relaxed, un-assigned seating arrangements. Guests enjoyed milling about, noshing on h’ors deuvres and despite the crowd of 200 everyone got a plate during the dinner hour.
  
  From the moment we met with Carol and Brian, the husband and wife duo who own and manage Dish & Design, we had a feeling of ease. They are organized, punctual, and professional and truly listen to what each client wants/needs. We met last winter and had our tasting last spring for our September 2015 wedding.
  
  Over the summer things got hectic for both of us but they were always reachable via text message or email. Brian was especially prompt in responding to my texts which I must confess dramatically increased as the wedding day drew closer!
  
  Looking back I feel foolish for even checking in about some things, as everything was under control on our wedding day and the guests had a lovely time. Carol is so organized and like a tiny general, overseeing the team and making sure everything is running smoothly. When a friend was embarrassingly too drunk (there were several but she was the only one who noticeably needed to go home), Carol offered to drive her back to the hotel. When I noticed we ran out of vodka (it was a liquor heavy crowd), Carol chimed in and said she could go to the nearest store and she brought back more beer and liquor.
  
  Brian was calm, cool, and collected and took over my parents’ kitchen like the professional that he is. His team of 10 servers and cooks were all stellar too, making sure the guests were happy and that everyone had what they needed. The D & D team plays nice with others also, be it the photographer, DJ, and even an outside bartender that I last minute decided to hire (knowing my family and the long lines that would plague the two bars we had set up).
  
  I can’t stress enough how happy I was with how everything turned out. My family helped set up the tables, lines, chairs etc so when the D & D team arrived they were shocked to see how much we had done but had prepared to do it all nonetheless. They helped light our numerous candles and lights we had set up as it was an outdoor wedding with a Midsummer Nights Dream inspired decor.
  
  What’s most noteworthy of mentioning is that Brian listened to every single detail regarding the food and as I walked through and got my plate it was so reassuring that not only did he pay attention to what I wanted but he executed it expertly. Whether you’re looking for an intimate dinner to be catered, a work or business lunch, a large festival, or wedding fare don’t hesitate to reach out to Dish & Design! They can handle it all and make sure every client is satisfied and everything from start to finish is taken care of. I know I’ll be keeping them in mind for my next gathering!
